Beach Dogs Veterinary Walk-in Clinic

Meet the Team!

Welcome to the Beach Dogs Veterinary Walk-in Clinic, located in beautiful Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia.  We are a walk-in clinic, working with cats and dogs.

We understand the special bond you have with your pets, and our friendly, professional team is caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable.

Our goal is to provide a different kind of experience for our clients and their pets.   We specifically reserve several time slots daily to make it easier for your pet to be seen on the day you have a concern.  We can adapt to the needs of the community so give us your feedback.

Dr Laura Madsen

Dr Laura Madsen grew up in Agassiz, did her undergrad at UFV and UBC then graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 1992. She spent several years working in Prince George, then the Sunshine Coast before moving back to Agassiz with her family in 2008.  She has enjoyed her years at Kent Veterinary Clinic and Coquihalla Veterinary Clinic and hopes this new walk-in clinic, even though not a fully equipped hospital, will be helpful for local people who work during the week or people from the lower mainland who spend their weekends in Harrison.
When not at work, Dr. Madsen enjoys mountain biking, hiking, musical theatre and growing organic vegetables

Laura-Anne Sivilay, Office Manager

Laura grew up in Burnaby but spent most of her summers living in Harrison Hot Springs since childhood.  She studied at Simon Fraser University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology in 2008.  She then worked for many years in Veterinary Hospitals and animal shelters in Vancouver before moving to the Fraser Valley in 2018.

Laura grew up with cats and hamsters, and has had many pets throughout her life, but currently lives with her best friends Malee the Thai Ridgeback, Marbles the Domestic Shorthair, as well as her young son.  In her free time, Laura loves to spend time playing on the beach with her family.  She is so excited to be a part of Beach Dogs and can’t wait to meet your pets.
